It is with a heavy heart that we announce that the 2020 Newport Beach Jazz Festival, presented by Bank of the West, has been rescheduled to June 4-6, 2021. This year’s event would have celebrated our 25th Anniversary at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, but after conferring with officials from the City of Newport Beach and monitoring the updates from state and federal authorities, rescheduling the event was in the best interest of all parties.
Hyatt Management and Omega Events made this decision based on the well-being and safety of our fans, musicians, partners, staff and the surrounding community. As the longest running music festival in Orange County, this is not a decision we took lightly, but we are inspired by the Hyatt’s purpose – we care for people so they can be their best. The doors to Hyatt Regency Newport Beach have been open for 58 years, and we will be here for you when you return.
All existing ticket orders have been transferred to the new dates in 2021, and we have already emailed ticketholders with relevant details. We anticipate that all of the previously scheduled performers will be returning to the festival in 2021.
Hyatt Regency Newport Beach is grateful for the support it receives from music fans throughout Southern California, but now is the time to press pause, reconnect with loved ones, and do our part to reduce the spread of the virus. Our hearts go out to all who are affected by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We send you love, continued health, and look forward to seeing you again next June 4-6, 2021.
If you have purchased tickets for 2020, you don’t need to do anything. All 2020 tickets will be honored on the new dates of June 4, 5 & 6, 2021.
If you are unable to attend the Newport Beach Jazz Festival on the rescheduled dates of June 4-6, 2021, we can issue a refund to the original order. Please note that all VIP tickets refunded will be released into the system for new customers to purchase.
