CLEAR BAG POLICY

GUIDELINES

  1. Clear bag or clear backpack
  2. Low-back chair under 35” (one per person)
  3. Small blanket or beach towel (one per person; max size is 8' x 8')
  4. Sunscreen
  5. Personal hand-held cameras (i.e. small digital or point-and-click cameras; no long/large/zoom/detachable lenses; no tripods; no pro cameras)
  6. (1) sealed and unopened plastic water bottle
  7. Reusable water bottles – empty, non-metal.
  8. Re-entry with wristband securely affixed to your wrist. No ripped, torn, or stretched wristbands are permitted.

**Please note, all personal belongings will be searched prior to entrance, so please adhere to these rules so that others will not be delayed during the entrance process**

  1. Outside food or beverage.  Excluding (1) sealed and unopened water bottle. (We have a zero-tolerance policy, under NO circumstances will you be allowed to bring outside food and drinks, our vendors will be offering many healthy options that will accommodate our festival attendees)

  2. Picnic Baskets/Coolers

  3. Wagons/carts

  4. Umbrellas

  5. Bags/purses/backpacks of any kind (only CLEAR bags will be permitted)

  6. High-back chairs (chairs must be 35" or lower)Pets

  7. Pets (excluding service animals. Must be pre-approved at customer service prior to entry)

  8. Illegal substances (no drugs of any kind) and/or weapons

  9. Glass of any kind

  10. Smoking inside the event

  11. Tents/Lawn Furniture/Large Tarps

  13. Professional cameras and/or equipment (no large/long/zoom/detachable lenses or tripods)

  14. Unauthorized vendors

Single Day tickets are on sale now!

The Uber/Lyft drop-off will be clearly marked with signs at the front entrance to the festival on Back Bay Drive. 

Drop-offs at the hotel entrance are prohibited. 

The email that you use to checkout, will receive your E-Tickets after your order is completed. If you cannot locate them, be sure to check your junk or spam! They will be coming from the "Subaru Newport Beach Jazz Festival", our ticketing company is called "Tix". If you still can't find them, fill out our customer service inquiry form! We will help you find your tickets. 

You may print out your e-ticket(s) or show them on your mobile device to scan in and exchange for a wristband upon arrival. Please make sure the QR codes print correctly. All members of your party MUST be present to obtain wristbands, no loose bands will be presented. 

If your credit card was declined when attempting to place an order, it may appear on your bank statement as a pending transaction. Some banks and credit card companies place a hold on a pending transaction for a certain period of time (usually 3 to 5 business days) and then release the funds back into your account. If you have any further questions, please contact your bank and/or credit card company.

For ages 12 and under, General Admission tickets can be purchased day-of-show near the Main Front Gate Entrance for $20 each day. Ages 2 and under are free. There is no discount for VIP as this is assigned seating.

Tickets will not be available for purchase at the festival grounds. Tickets will only be available on our website.

Re-entry into the festival grounds is only allowed with the proper wristband. If you leave the venue with a beverage or a food item, please note that you will not be able to bring it back in.

Festival parking will be available adjacent to the hotel at the Dunes Resort for a fee. The address is: 1131 Back Bay Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92660. No parking will be allowed on the hotel property unless you are hotel guest.

The Subaru Newport Beach Jazz Festival is located at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach: 
1107 Jamboree Rd Newport Beach, CA 92660

Please note:

  • The front entrance of the hotel will be closed to both vehicle and pedestrian access on Saturday and Sunday during the festival.
  • Attendees will enter from Back Bay Drive, which is located one street past the Hyatt from Jamboree Road.

Absolutely NO PETS of any kind are allowed at the Subaru Newport Beach Jazz Festival.

 

Per the Americans with Disabilities Act, service animals are permitted on the festival grounds. Please note that under the ADA Act emotional support animals are not considered to be service animals. Absolutely NO PETS of any kind are allowed at the Subaru Newport Beach Jazz Festival.

 

Service animals must be pre-registered to attend, must wear a “service vest” at all times while on the Festival grounds, and may never be handled by or tethered to a person other than their owner. Service animals must always be in “Full Stay” command position when not performing the service for which they are trained.

 

No outside food or beverages are allowed under any circumstances. Our festival provides an option for everyone’s dietary restrictions. If you have a specific request, please let us know in advance so that we can communicate this to our food vendors in a timely manner. Your wristband allows you to come in and out of the festival – you may choose to dine at Shor restaurant on the Hyatt grounds or leave the premises to enjoy food more to your liking.

The Hyatt Regency Subaru Newport Beach Jazz Festival is accessible to all guests with disabilities.

 

ADA parking

  • Limited Number available on a first come first serve basis at Newport Dunes Resort.
  • Law enforcement will be present to verify identification and placard properly match.
  • If you need to drop off a member of your party for easier entry, please drop them off on Back Bay Drive NO DROP OFFS WILL BE PERMITTED AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE

ADA Restrooms

  • Accessible restrooms will be located on the festival grounds for our patrons with disabilities.

Dietary Restrictions

  • We have a zero-tolerance policy, under NO circumstances will you be allowed to bring outside food and drinks, our vendors will be offering many healthy options that will accommodate our festival attendees

ADA Viewing Area General Admission

  • For general admission ticket holders, a reserved ADA viewing area will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Because space is limited, each disabled patron is allowed one guest to accompany them.
  • Seating is not provided in this area, so guests should bring blankets or low-back awn chairs.
  • When you arrive, security can direct you to the designated area.

ADA Viewing Area VIP Ticket Holders

  • VIP-assigned seating is available on our website in the ADA section.
  • If seating in the ADA section is sold out on our website, then we are completely sold out and recommend purchasing General Admission tickets and arriving early to find space in the ADA viewing area.

Wheelchair Rentals

Golf Cart Assistance

  • No golf carts are allowed access to the festival grounds.
  • If you are needing assistance on the hotel property, golf cart assistance can be requested by texting 949-518-0490.
  • If you need a cart that will accommodate a wheelchair please ensure you include that info, as the hotel has various cart styles and will want to ensure that they are fully prepared to meet your specific needs in a timely manner.
  • Please note that the wait for a golf cart may take over an hour as they are assisting thousands of guests over the weekend.

For any other ADA accommodation requests, please contact us by filling out our customer service form at least 3 weeks prior to the festival date.

  • Specialty Wristband to Identify all Hotel Guests for 10 Minute Early Entry into the Venue on Saturday and Sunday

**Only for guests with room reservations staying at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach

  1. ALL BAGS will be searched before entry.
  2. Small clutch purses and fanny packs (6”x 9” or smaller) are allowed and do not need to be clear.
  3. All other bags larger than (6”x 9”) must be smaller than (12 ”x 6” x 12”) and CLEAR. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you bring any of the prohibited bags to the venue, you will be asked to return to your car and store your bag elsewhere.
